Pokémon: Detective Pikachu (también conocida como Detective Pikachu) es una próxima película familiar​ dirigida por Rob Letterman y escrita por Nicole Perlman y Letterman, basada en el videojuego del mismo nombre. La película es una empresa conjunta estadounidense y japonesa producida por Legendary Pictures, The Pokémon Company, Warner Bros. Pictures y Toho. Será la primera película de acción en vivo basada en la franquicia Pokémon. La película está protagonizada por Ryan Reynolds como la voz del detective Pikachu y con Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton y Ken Watanabe en papeles de acción en vivo.

Pokémon: Detective Pikachu is an upcoming 2019 science fiction action comedy mystery film directed by Rob Letterman, who co-wrote the screenplay with Dan Hernandez, Benji Samit and Derek Connolly, from a story by Hernandez, Samit and Nicole Perlman, based on the 2016 video game Great Detective Pikachu.[2] The film is an American and Japanese joint venture produced by Legendary Pictures and Toho. It is the first live-action/animated film in the Pokémon franchise, and represents a separate continuity from the mainline video games and anime series. The film stars Ryan Reynolds as the voice and facial motion capture of Detective Pikachu, with Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton, Suki Waterhouse, Omar Chaparro, Chris Geere, Ken Watanabe, and Bill Nighy in live-action roles.
